In Rostock Warnemünde, we build river cruise ships for the European market and floating engine room units for the cruise liners constructed by MEYER WERFT in Papenburg and MEYER TURKU in Finland. This allows us to secure the future of our shipyard and take various measures to promote the health and happiness of our employees.
Staying fit and healthy
Promoting a healthy work-life balance is a major concern at NEPTUN WERFT. It is firmly anchored in our corporate strategy as an integral part of our occupational health management, including various courses on topics like coping with stress, relaxing muscles and quitting smoking. Our in-house doctor also looks after the staff at NEPTUN WERFT. We also have a donation fund to provide financial support in times of need.

The Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) in Rostock has been presenting its TOP Training Company Award for many years – and NEPTUN WERFT has always stood out for its excellent apprenticeships. Some of the most important aspects include our individual support, committed teachers and early vocational guidance for schoolchildren.
NEPTUN WERFT has now been recognised as a TOP Training Company for the twelfth time in a row. Our company is also certified in the area of occupational safety and environmental management.
Permanently connected
NEPTUN WERFT has founded a club for senior citizens to give all retired members of staff the chance to stay connected with us and our company and to stay in touch with their former colleagues. The club organises various events throughout the year, such as games afternoons, talks about trips, chats and dancing events, a summer festival and a Christmas party.
The association was founded in 1996 and today has hundreds of members.
