Norwegian Encore

Norwegian Encore

Norwegian Encore is the last of four ships in the Breakaway Plus Class. It was delivered to the American shipping company “Norwegian Cruise Line” in October 2019.

All four vessels in this series – Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Joy, Norwegian Bliss and Norwegian Encore – are even bigger than their predecessors in the Breakaway Class. They even have an additional passenger deck. All four luxury liners are also 1.7 metres wider than their predecessors, featuring the maximum width that can be constructed at the MEYER WERFT shipyard in Papenburg. The benefits of this additional space is reflected in the balconies, which are 45 centimetres deeper than on Norwegian Breakaway and Norwegian Getaway. Around 75% of the staterooms are outside cabins – the majority have their own balcony.

Other highlights include a spectacular Aqua Racer waterslide, Freefall waterslides, an escape room, virtual reality games, and the longest go-kart track on the high seas.

All luxury liners in the Breakaway Plus Class feature eco-friendly engine technology, improved hydrodynamics, numerous energy-saving and heat-recovery facilities and a ballast water purification system.
